Marina Bay Sands is one of, if not the most, iconic landmarks in all of Singapore. The hotel, entertainment, and amenities in this area are where many tourists find themselves when they travel to the Lion City, and I was lucky enough to snag a room at the hotel early this year.\u00a0<\/p>

Our stay at Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands hotel came with an unexpected twist. The room that we had booked was in Tower 3, which contains all of the lower-end Deluxe rooms (I only rooms I had ever been in!), but upon checking in, we were told that the the upper part of tower was under renovation and that it would be really loud. After over 20 minutes of waiting for the front desk to find us a room, we were offered an upgrade to a renovated room for a small fee. And once we stepped foot inside, we knew that MBS was not kidding around with the luxury.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Upon entering the room, the lights immediately flip on and the automatic curtains open up, revealing a view of Gardens by the Bay. We were placed on the 27th story of Tower 1, which unfortunately had a garden right outside the window blocking part of the view and replacing a potential balcony.<\/p>

<\/p>

The room itself makes up for it though. We were blown away by the new golden marble aesthetic, which resembles the color of the MBS logo. This alone was quite an upgrade over the original Deluxe Room, which was more brown and definitely felt less luxurious. Items like the TV remote or coffee machine that could not have the inherent golden color were covered in a similar colored leather.<\/p>
